Job description
We currently have a full-time position available for a Service Technician at our Woodstock location.
This is an excellent opportunity for a team player with a contagious can-do attitude in the workplace. Must be able to provide immediate solutions to problems and take the initiative to seek a resolution. This job requires physical strength, including heavy lifting, frequent bending, and working in tight spaces.
Responsibilities and requirements:
- Responsible for repairing all assigned vehicles according to estimates and within timeframes
- Complete repair order documentation and record keeping
- Use and maintain tools and equipment properly
- Keep the Service Manager informed of the progress of the repairs and, communicate with the parts department to obtain the required parts as needed
- Keep personal workspace organized and return tools, materials, and equipment to designated areas
- Work in a high-volume environment and follow all company safety procedures
- Work as a team, both individually and with other mechanics
Qualifications:
- Service advisor/parts experience
- Knowledge of digital technology, including the ability to use the internet and the appropriate software
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong customer service skills in order to handle customer complaints and questions effectively
- Ability to interpret technical terms to the customers
- Willingness to maintain a high degree of product and industry knowledge
- Exceptional customer service skills, excellent follow-up skills with a genuine focus on customer support and retention
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
- Overtime possible
