Job description


We currently have a full-time position available for a Service Technician at our Woodstock location.

This is an excellent opportunity for a team player with a contagious can-do attitude in the workplace. Must be able to provide immediate solutions to problems and take the initiative to seek a resolution. This job requires physical strength, including heavy lifting, frequent bending, and working in tight spaces.

Responsibilities and requirements:
  • Responsible for repairing all assigned vehicles according to estimates and within timeframes
  • Complete repair order documentation and record keeping
  • Use and maintain tools and equipment properly
  • Keep the Service Manager informed of the progress of the repairs and, communicate with the parts department to obtain the required parts as needed
  • Keep personal workspace organized and return tools, materials, and equipment to designated areas
  • Work in a high-volume environment and follow all company safety procedures
  • Work as a team, both individually and with other mechanics

Qualifications:
  • Service advisor/parts experience
  • Knowledge of digital technology, including the ability to use the internet and the appropriate software
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong customer service skills in order to handle customer complaints and questions effectively
  • Ability to interpret technical terms to the customers
  • Willingness to maintain a high degree of product and industry knowledge
  • Exceptional customer service skills, excellent follow-up skills with a genuine focus on customer support and retention

Schedule:
  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
  • Overtime possible
